Hotkeys

General Modifier Keys

• [ALT] - Anything related to duplicating and cloning

• [SHIFT]:

  • Add to selection
  • Things related to snapping
    • Toggle snapping of playhead and other time-elements

• [CTRL]:

  • Remove to selection
  • Things related to scaling:
    • Dragging end of TimeClipControl will scale element
    • Dragging end of TimeClipControl with [CTRL]+[ALT] will only change source out

Global hotkeys

Key - Function Mouse wheel - Zoom
RMB-Drag - Pan
F - Show all
C - Center Selection
Moving the playhead -
LMB Drag on time ruler - Set Playhead / Clear selection
LMB Drag on Playhead - Move playhead
SPACE - Toggle play/pause
H - Play the last 5 seconds again
L - Play forward (faster)
K - Stop
J - Play Backward (faster)
Shift + L - Play forward slowly
. - Jump to next keyframe, Time marker, or in/out point
, - Jump to previous keyframe, Time marker, or in/out point
Right - Next Frame
Left - Previous Frame
Pos1 - Jump to in point

Edit Menu Functions

• Ctrl + z - Undo
• Ctrl + y - Redo
• Ctrl + c - Copy
• Ctrl + x - Cut
• Ctrl + v - Paste
• Ctrl + f - Search for Operator
• Ctrl + h - Search and Replace
• Tab - Create Operator (or just double-click on the empty background area)

Selecting and moving keyframes

LMB Click on Keyframe - Select Keyframe (replacing previous selection)
Shift + LMB Click on Keyframe - Add/remove keyframe to selection
Control + LMB Click on Keyframe - Remove keyframe from Selection
LMB Drag on graph area - Fence selection (replace to selection)
Shift+LMB Drag on graph area - Fence selection (add to selection)
Control+LMB Drag on Background - Fence selection (remove from to selection)
Alt-LMB Drag on Keyframes - Duplicate and move keyframes
MMB+Drag on Keyframe - Move keyframe or selection horizontally or vertically (lock axis after an initial threshold). Ctrl+Alt+Shift unlocks the axis.
