v2.0.17
What's New
Added a new dithering option, blue noise. This is a good tradeoff between the regularity of ordered dithering and the crispness of error. Enable it using --dither blue (https://cv.ulichney.com/papers/1988-blue-noise.pdf).
Implemented and documented all the --pgm-xxx debug output options:
--pgmnow outputs actual encoded frames (what goes into the FLIM file)--pgm-posteroutputs 128×86 poster thumbnails--pgm-diffoutputs difference between encoded and source--pgm-changeoutputs difference between consecutive frames--pgm-targetoutputs target source images
Deprecated redundant command-line arguments: --out-pattern and --pgm-pattern (use --pgm), --diff-pattern (use --pgm-diff), --change-pattern (use --pgm-change), --target-pattern (use --pgm-target).

This release fixes a playback bug: flims of the same size as the screen were crashing the machine with MacFlim (the XCMD was ok).

v2.0.12
What's New?
This is a consolidation release. Not all the code was in sync with the repository content, and the code of the XCMD was diverging from the MacFlim player codebase.
Everything is now completely automated, so hopefully I'll be able to do more regular updates.
Also, binaries now know what version they are. Use flimmaker --version to check version, or the about panel of MacFlim.
