About the project

This repository demonstrates the powerful capabilities of Bito's AI Code Review Agent across multiple programming languages. It's designed to help developers and engineering teams evaluate how well Bito understands real-world codebases and detects issues with precision, context, and actionable suggestions.

What's in this repository?

We've created sample codebases in multiple popular languages:

• python_codebase/
• java_codebase/
• javascript_codebase/
• typescript_codebase/
• go_codebase/

Each folder contains:

1. A realistic codebase simulating what you'd find in production or legacy systems.
2. A dedicated pull request with:
   • 🚨 high-severity issues (security flaws, data corruption, concurrency bugs, etc.)
   • ⚠️ intermediate-level issues (performance bottlenecks, misuse of APIs, etc.)
   • 🧹 easy issues (bad naming, code style, dead code, etc.)

These PRs are designed to evaluate how Bito's AI identifies a wide range of issues in different language ecosystems.

What is Bito's AI Code Review Agent?

Bito's AI Code Review Agent is an advanced code review tool that helps you catch bugs, security vulnerabilities, code smells, and other issues in your pull requests. By understanding your entire codebase, Bito provides context-aware, actionable suggestions to improve both code quality and security.

It includes real-time recommendations from dev tools you already use such as static code analysis, open source vulnerability scanners, linters, and secrets scanning tools (e.g., passwords, API keys, sensitive information, etc.).

Bito seamlessly integrates with GitHub, GitLab, and Bitbucket.

How to explore this repo
