Follow this article to cleanly install the latest macOS version.
- Update macOS to the latest version
- Install Xcode from the App Store, open it and accept the license agreement
- Install macOS Command Line Tools by running
xcode-select --install - Append
/usr/local/bin/zshto the end of your/etc/shellsfile - Copy your public and private SSH keys to
~/.ssh - Clone this repo to
~/.dotfiles - Run
bin/install.shto start the installation - Start
Herd.appand run its install process - Restart your computer to finalize the process
Unfortunately, there are still some things we have to set manually:
