- support for macos
- patch protobuf to prevent racy initialization in python
- removing eigen thread pool dependency to eliminate faults with copying on macos. seemingly related to libc++ vs libstdc++
- adding some vscode debugging
- added multi-platform support
- adding support for building the wheel directly from bazel to avoid more scripts
- adding git workflow for macos and linux
