👋 Hi, I'm Almer

A frontend engineer with 3 years of experience building web applications that balance performance, usability and design. Since 2022, I’ve worked closely with cross-functional teams to ship reliable, user-focused products.

What excites me most about frontend development is the bridge between logic and experience. I appreciate good design, love to build things and have a passion for continuous learning. Clean code matters to me, but so does accessibility, responsiveness and making sure every interaction feels natural.

I approach my work with curiosity and care. For me, frontend development isn’t just about pushing pixels or shipping features—it’s about crafting experiences that make life easier, faster and a little more delightful.

Outside of work, I dive into strategy and role-playing games like The Legend of Zelda and Company of Heroes, or reading about philosophy and intentional living. I also enjoy casual running to build strength and endurance, and have a huge soft spot for dogs, especially working breeds. They’re a constant reminder of loyalty, discipline and purpose, traits I try to bring into my own craft.

I’ve learned that the best software engineers don’t just write code; they listen, adapt and collaborate. They bring structure to complexity and creativity to constraints.

This is the kind of engineer I strive to be every day.
