Node 18 CI was failing because vitest 4.1.x and rolldown require Node 20+ (styleText export from node:util). Dependabot auto-merges bypassed the failure so it only surfaced on non-auto-merged PRs (#54, #63), blocking their checks. Also pin @types/node major to match the Node runtime (20) so Dependabot stops proposing cross-major bumps that would introduce types for APIs that don't exist at runtime.
