The data folder contains data files needed for all kinds of plotting. It includes encoding results, pickling results, and other plotting files

  • The data/pickling folder is linked to your 247-pickling/results folder and contains all pickling results, so all 247 results should be in data/pickling/tfs
  • The data/encoding folder is linked to your 247-encoding/results folder and contains all encoding results, so all 247 results should be in data/encoding/tfs
  • The data/plotting folder is copied from /projects/HASSON/247/plotting. It is not linked because we don't want to accidentally overwirte the projects folder.

/projects/HASSON/247/plotting/ folder structure

This folder should contain all plotting related data files

  • brainplot/ contains files related for making brainmaps
    • [sid]_ind.txt and [sid]_ave.txt: electrode coordinate files for each subject (individual and average brain)
    • [sid]_elecs.csv: electrode csvs for each subject that translates between two different types of electrode names (between traditional Matlab side and Python encoding side)
    • [sid]-electrode-coordinates.csv: electrode csvs for each subject that are masterlists of elec information, including average coordinates, electrode names, and brain areas
    • ch2_template_mni_lh_pial.mat: average left hemisphere brain mat file
    • ch2_template_mni_rh_pial.mat: average right hemisphere brain mat file
    • individual left hemisphere brain mat files for each subject
  • sig-elecs/ contains files related for making encoding plots
    • podcast-old/: old podcast csvs
    • tfs-old/: old 247 csvs
    • podcast_160.csv: podcast 160 significant electrodes (most commonly used)
    • podcast-all.csv: podcast all electrodes
    • Different versions of significant electrode lists for 247
  • paper-whisper/data/ contains files related to the whisper paper
    • base_df.csv: electrode masterlist, including average coordinates, electrode names, brain areas, and significant electrode lists
    • brainmap/ch2_template_mni_lh_pial.mat: average left hemisphere brain mat file
    • encoding_results/: all relevant encoding results
    • example_electrodes.csv: list of example electrodes needed for figures
