Summary of Changes

Hello @ymaheshwari1, I'm Gemini Code Assist1! I'm currently reviewing this pull request and will post my feedback shortly. In the meantime, here's a summary to help you and other reviewers quickly get up to speed!

This pull request addresses an improvement to the application's Content Security Policy by extending the allowed sources for image content. The change specifically permits images from the *.hotwax.io domain, which is crucial for ensuring that all necessary visual assets are loaded correctly and without security violations, thereby enhancing the application's functionality and user experience.

Highlights

  • Content Security Policy Update: The Content Security Policy (CSP) configuration has been updated to expand the allowed sources for images.
  • New Image Source Added: The img-src directive within the CSP now explicitly permits images to be loaded from *.hotwax.io.

Code Review

This pull request adds *.hotwax.io to the img-src directive in the Content-Security-Policy (CSP). While this change is correct, I've noticed that the CSP itself has several critical security vulnerabilities, such as the use of 'unsafe-inline' and 'unsafe-eval' in script-src, which expose the application to XSS attacks. The CSP configuration is also duplicated across prod, dev, and uat environments, which makes it difficult to maintain. I've added comments on each occurrence with detailed feedback and a suggestion to improve the policy's security. It is highly recommended to address these security issues.
