This commit addresses a visual bug where neuron navigation nodes would overlap and obscure text content, while also ensuring the nodes remain clickable.

The following changes were implemented based on user guidance:
- Adjusted the z-index and pointer-events in styles.css to establish a clear layering hierarchy.
- Updated the node click listener in app.js to use the event capture phase and stopImmediatePropagation() for more robust event handling.
- Verified the fix with a Playwright script and screenshot.
