I think that we need a better solution that will require less amount of duplication between the scripts. Otherwise I will not be able to maintain them.

The good way should be to use gulp.

If your interested, I have done a NPM Project to make available native Meteor packages with webpack.
You can do import {...} from 'meteor/...' in your code as for Meteor 1.3+ for many modules.
The build uses Gulp.
