In coordination with IOOS Marine Life staff and MBON PIs, establish a plan for decommissioning the MBON data portal (https://mbon.ioos.us/), including data stewardship and inventory of data that only exist in the MBON data portal. Identify communication plans to notify MBON projects and external users of the portal about the plan moving forward. Prior to decommissioning, ensure that prioritized data assets are appropriately archived at NCEI, OBIS-USA (must be standardized to Darwin Core), and/or the IOOS Data Catalog.
