Hi there,
I just wanted to import the functions inside of
pico_timer.pyto use in my own project and realized the dependency on the global variables was making that difficult. This PR hopes to resolve that.Feel free to modify if you think there is a better approach.
I love the work you've done here, it's been incredibly useful for me.
