Understanding the structural mechanics of law and business isn't a passive exercise—it requires getting your hands dirty. CS-00 is a modern learning platform designed to take complex, static concepts out of the textbook and drop them into a dynamic, AI-assisted environment.
Originally conceived to support real-world entrepreneurial hubs, CS-00 transforms heavy legal and business manifests into interactive scenarios. We don't just teach students what a term sheet is; we give them the tools to map the terrain, negotiate the terms, and understand the long-term impact of their decisions.
The platform is built as a flexible "Hybrid Dojo," offering distinct interaction modes that adapt to the learner's journey from foundational understanding to active practice:
- The Reader (Foundational): A schema-first, card-based interface that chunks dense legal and business text into highly digestible, interactive modules.
- The Workbench (Active): A split-screen analytical environment. Here, students work directly on real-world artifacts (like redlining a PDF or structuring a cap table) while an AI "Guide" provides side-by-side coaching and instant feedback.
- The Journey (Immersive): A non-linear, branching simulation. Students role-play as startup founders, investors, or general counsel, navigating high-stakes negotiations where their choices fundamentally alter the outcome of the case study.
CS-00 isn't just a student tool; it’s a command center for educators and facilitators. The platform features robust Role-Based Access Control, giving instructors a comprehensive "God-mode" view of the simulation. From automated team generation to AI-enabled progress tracking, facilitators can monitor the tactical decisions their students are making in real-time, allowing for targeted, highly effective interventions and debriefs.
It’s an environment built for modern stewardship—giving learners the psychological safety to test their strategies, fail in private, and eventually walk into their first real-world negotiation with absolute confidence.
The current status of this application is very very (very!) MVP (minimum viable product).
Phase I will build the structure around the site and get the first case study (term sheet negotiation for a hard-tech product) online. It will implement an AI Term Sheet Analysis and an AI Negotiation in addition to facilitating a more traditional, "in-class" simulation.
Phase II will add collaboration. Case studies like these are often done in team-based classrooms, so users will be able to take a side, work together on documents, analysis, negotiation, strategy, and the other tools developed by these case studies.
Phase III will add more advanced AI interactions including defining your own AI, changing difficulty levels, and becoming more adapted to specific users.
Each case study has a robust intstructor manual that will help guide teachers and instructors in the materials and ideas being developed by the modules.
