Hello 👋 My name is Jiwon Chang. I am a Ph.D. student in Computer Science at the University of Rochester, studying data management systems under Dr. Fatemeh Nargesian.

My research broadly lies at the intersection between databases and machine learning. My current focus is on LLM-augmented queries (semantic operators), their optimization and efficient execution. My work has appeared in SIGMOD, VLDB, and OOPSLA.
