Though we appreciate the input, FIPS operates at the same layer as IP and cannot really be compared with DNS as DNS lives on a higher layer of the networking stack. Eliminating the strict need for DNS as a static identifier is just a byproduct of using cryptographic identities and not a goal in and of itself. I think the description here is not really fitting for that reason. |
