I’m interested in Data Science, mainly Machine Learning methods and it's intersection with traditional Econometrics. Formally,

There're many applications that arouse my curiosity. To summarise them, I generated a wordcloud (you can see the code here).

This project uses this dataset and BERT embeddings to predict S&P indexes through news headlines.

🚩 flags

Using Brazilian Census data, I generated wordclouds summarising municipalities population for each Brazilian state, using it's flag as shape. Flags for all states were automatically collected using BeautifulSoupfor web scrapping.

⚽ attendance

Flamengo moves brazilian soccer ahead! I used R and Brazilian league data from Base dos Dados to compare the average attendance between Flamengo and non-Flamengo matches

🇺🇸 USBalance

I used Bureal of Economic Analysis (BEA) data for replicating and updating some of the analysis performed by Maggiori (2017), for a Macro course.

$\hat{\beta}$ logit

This project is a solution for a Graduate Econometrics assignment, covering Discrete Choice methods, including Nested and Mixed Logit, and also a Bootstrap exercise.
