[5.3] "current" Filter for extensions does not apply the correct version

I have checked the code of the current filter as on J5 i could not find my extension which is only aviable on J5 with the current filter settings. Example extension: https://extensions.joomla.org/extension/extensionupdates/

While checking I have found this commit: a8c50f5

While checking this i found this behavior which looks wrong to me (https://3v4l.org/6iKuE)

The new behavior would be (https://3v4l.org/OIurh)

From my understanding the second setVar also overrides the first option and in our current case would set the filter on 5.x to "40" and not "50"

I dont have access to an remote system for the webinstaller to do the final test looking at the code and 3v4l it looks like a issue within the install from web code.
