HeyChat

A minimal, chat app for streamers that aggregates messages from Twitch, YouTube Live, and Kick.

Installation

Download the latest release for your platform from the Releases page.

  1. Windows: Run the .exe installer.
  2. Linux: Use the AppImage or .deb package.
  3. macOS: Drag the .app to your Applications folder.

Usage

  1. Launch HeyChat.
  2. Twitch: Enter your channel name (e.g., raxxanterax) and click Connect.
  3. Kick: Enter your channel name and click Connect.
  4. YouTube: Enter a Video ID, full URL, or Channel Handle (e.g., @handle) and click Connect.
  5. Favorites: Add usernames to the "Favorites" list in the sidebar to highlight their messages in gold.
  6. Filtering: Use the search bar at the top to filter messages by user.
