• add top-level README badges for release, deploy workflow, and monitor-freshness workflow
• add a one-line Try it link to /browse in README
• add the same Try it link near the top of docs/releases/v1.0.0.md
• add a new paste-ready Discussion template at docs/discussions/start-here.md

Why

• improves first impression and trust signals for new visitors
• makes the primary demo entry point obvious
• gives maintainers a reusable pinned "Start here" discussion template
