Previously, when only the uuid was broadcast, it was possible for different processes to get different timestamps, leading to different temp_filepaths.

Previously, when only the uuid was broadcast, it was possible for different processes to get different timestamps (e.g. off by one second), leading to different temp_filepaths. This had caused a crash.
