Overview

Search Mode V4 is a dual-platform prompt line for both GPT and Gemini.

The core behavior is shared:

• it does not assume the current date from intuition
• it synchronizes against Server Time
• it decides between Offline Mode and Online Mode
• it uses search and verification in a structured flow
• it keeps fixed meta headers such as Online Mode, Offline Mode, Research Mode, and Search Strategy

Threshold Rule

• Before 2025-11-23: Offline Mode
• On or after 2025-11-23: Online Mode

In Offline Mode, external search is blocked and the model must stay within internal knowledge boundaries.

In Online Mode, freshness-sensitive questions must use external search.
