Summary

Three small cleanups to `thoughts/shared/research/2026-04-23-codex-vs-lightfast-desktop-production-gap.md` after the rc.1 → rc.4 dry-run wrapped:

  1. Refresh `last_updated_note` — was written before the dry-run; now reflects that G-2/G-3/G-5/G-7 closed via PRs fix(desktop): codesign pre-fixes for rc.1 ad-hoc dry-run #638-fix(desktop): bridge renderer errors to main Sentry SDK #643, G-1 Sentry-half closed, G-8..G-14 surfaced and closed, and Apple Developer enrollment is the single remaining gate.
  2. Disambiguate two same-dated section headings — `## Status Update 2026-05-06` appears twice; rename the earlier one (the verification pass) to `(pre-dry-run / verification)` so the two sections read as sequential rather than duplicate.
  3. Add `reports:` frontmatter — points at the dry-run final report so future readers can find the post-dry-run authoritative state from the doc's metadata, not just by scrolling.

No content changes. Historical sections (Status Tracker, Detailed Findings, Architecture, both prior status updates) remain as audit trail.

Test plan

  • Diff is exactly the three intended changes (frontmatter + one heading rename)
  • Markdown renders cleanly

🤖 Generated with Claude Code

- Update last_updated_note to reflect the rc.1 → rc.4 dry-run outcome
  (G-2/G-3/G-5/G-7 closed; G-1 Sentry-half closed; G-8..G-14 closed;
  Apple Developer enrollment is the only remaining gate).
- Disambiguate the two "## Status Update 2026-05-06" sections by
  renaming the earlier (verification) one to "(pre-dry-run / verification)";
  the appended one is already "(post-dry-run)".
- Add `reports:` frontmatter pointing at the dry-run final report so
  future readers can find the post-dry-run authoritative state from the
  doc's metadata, not just by scrolling.

No content changes — historical sections unchanged.

CodeRabbit blocks several paths by default. You can override this behavior by explicitly including those paths in the path filters. For example, including **/dist/** will override the default block on the dist directory, by removing the pattern from both the lists.
