@reneeotten Just in case, this is not my PR, so do as you please.

P. S. If anyone bumps into this, wanting to have it working on 10.6.x for powerpc with python 3.13: the only remaining issue with it is that the pthread patch has a wrong condition, and prior to 3.13 it was not considered an error, so pythons built, but the bug was there. Change this line in the patch and you are good to go: https://github.com/macos-powerpc/powerpc-ports/blob/6a8bbea3f42ab67c687eea94983db4e6fccd4a4e/lang/python313/files/patch-threadid-older-systems.diff#L9
