πŸ’‘ What:

Optimized listMemoryFiles in src/memory/internal.ts by parallelizing the fs.realpath calls in the deduplication loop using Promise.all.

🎯 Why:

The previous implementation called fs.realpath sequentially for each file, which became a bottleneck when dealing with a large number of memory files (e.g., in projects with many markdown notes).

πŸ“Š Measured Improvement:

Using a benchmark script with 1000 markdown files:

  • Baseline: ~96.57ms
  • After Optimization: ~63.22ms
  • Improvement: ~34% reduction in execution time.

Verified with existing unit tests in src/memory/internal.test.ts.

Optimize the deduplication loop in listMemoryFiles by using Promise.all
to resolve paths concurrently instead of sequentially.

Measured improvement: ~34% (96.57ms -> 63.22ms for 1000 files).
