Purpose

  • This pull request adds important documentation to clarify the deletion process for Azure resources when Log Analytics workspace replication is enabled. The main change is the addition of a new guide that instructs users on how to disable replication before deleting resources, and an update to the deployment guide to reference this new requirement.

Documentation improvements for resource deletion:

  • Added a new file, docs/LogAnalyticsReplicationDisable.md, providing step-by-step instructions for disabling Log Analytics workspace replication before deletion, including relevant Azure CLI commands and verification steps.
  • Updated the resource deletion section in docs/DeploymentGuide.md to warn users about potential deletion failures if replication is enabled, and linked to the new guide for handling Log Analytics workspace replication.
