Welcome to Mindcraft Community Edition

This organization takes the power of Mindcraft and expands on it, creating a faster moving fork with more community feedback than the original repo.

Who runs it?

Mindcraft-CE is run by 4 people:

  • riqvip
  • MrElmida
  • uukelele
  • Sweaterdog

We found the original Mindcraft project had become stale, and inactive. We took initiative and revived it with the Community Edition, making large changes.

What we've done

  • Establish a rich presence in the Mindcraft community.
  • Make AI models designed to play Minecraft.
  • Establish a free, public API for users to use, and donate their resources to.
  • Improve pathfinding for the bots to use doors, and avoid breaking glass.
  • Add RAG, and Realtime Information via searching on the Minecraft Wiki.
  • And much, much more.

What is the Andy API?

The Andy API is a distributed framework that allows people to donate their resources to a public pool for people to access AI models donors wish to contribute.

The Andy API is highly configurable, allowing direct access to what people can access, and how much.

We believe in privacy, so you don't have to worry about the following:

  • IP Logging
  • External access to your PC
  • Ability to have new models be downloaded

You get to choose what is used, and what doesn't get used.

What is Andy-4?

Andy-4 is a model designed by Sweaterdog to allow users without access to a paid API key to still enjoy Mindcraft-CE. The model comes in 2 sizes, a larger and a smaller variant, and is highly capable compared to SOTA models like Gemini 2.5 Pro.
