This is a repository that provides tools for creating photomeson model tables.
The code can be used to calculate the cross sections for interactions between photons and Ultra-High Energy Cosmic Rays (UHECRs) (like neutrons, protons and nuclei). These interactions are of interest in problems of astro-particle physics like the origin of UHECRs, the origin of astrophysical neutrinos, multi-messenger astronomy, and others.
This code implements the Empirical Photomeson model and the Residual Decay Model (detailed discussion in arXiv) and the more commonly used Superposition Model.
Researches interested in modelling the sources and propagation of UHECRs can use this code to generate interaction tables for the models mentioned above, or implement their own.
