We can create Notifications from UI directly as well as YAML. However, for accounts that already have a lot of notifications created from UI, it can be tedious to have to manually create the YAML for each notification. This PR aims to provide a script that, when executed with the
MCD_DEFAULT_API_IDandMCD_DEFAULT_API_TOKENwill automatically generate a Monte Carlo compatible YAML file, which can then be deployed using themontecarlo monitors applycommand.Prerequisites to run the code -
Export
MCD_DEFAULT_API_IDandMCD_DEFAULT_API_TOKENvalues in the ~/.zshrc or ~/.bashrc files for Mac or Linux respectively. Alternately for Windows, these two credentials can be added to the environment variables.
