Hi, I'm Jordan 👋

Software architect, CS professor, and indie studio founder based in Québec, Canada. I care about quality, efficiency, and shipping things that work end-to-end — in any domain.

Currently building

Aevia Studio — my independent software studio.

The first product, Castloop, is an open-source runtime for AI-driven game characters and directors — with persistent memory, world-canon constraints, and engine plugins for Unreal and Unity.

Background

  • CS Professor at @cegepst (Cégep de Sorel-Tracy) — 9+ years teaching advanced programming, iOS development, game development, enterprise methodologies, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Previously Tech Lead / Architect at Staples — 15+ years leading global projects with distributed teams across the US, Canada, and India.

How I work

End-to-end engineer — backend, frontend, UI/UX, QA, and DevOps. Strong opinions about clean architecture, automated pipelines, and tooling that compounds over time.

Stack: Elixir · Go · modern web frontends · whatever fits the problem. Background: Deep professional experience in Java and C#.

Off-screen

🧗 Climbing, 🐕 four Samoyeds (Lou, Lucy, Skye, and Arya), and increasingly — 🎮 game development.
