This manual explains how a new build unit should be introduced to OpenMS. The current version is a quick draft developed at the OpenMS Development Retreat 2014 and needs completion.

Things you should do:

do all you develepment in one build unit
do not link anything from 'inside' OpenMS against your build unit, e.g. do not link from the core to your build unit
