Quick Start

This section is a quick reference about how to visualize your data within 5 minutes, provided that you upload one table and which is in the right data format (see [here](Data Formatting) how to correctly format your data).

  1. From the top table that you see "Your Visualizations", select a visualization from the drop down menu Create Visualization.
  2. The table shows you the visualization name alongside with the data schema. Behind the data schema, select the name of the table (file) you have uploaded.
  3. In your table (Your Data), assign each column to a field in the schema (e.g. Person name to Node 1). Use the drop down menu to select the schema fields.
  4. Click on the name of the visualization in the visualization table (e.g. Node-Link Networks), et voilà... ...the new visualization is shown in a new tab.
  5. Get inspired by the other visualizations and find their in-depth descriptions here.

The other parts of this manual are structured to give you a deeper understanding and advices on how to prepare your data, create visualizations and use them.
