• Thirsty for Knowledge is a full-stack hybrid web application developed in React on Rails and RESTful API integration with Open Trivia DB

• This app is made to turn those dull family nights into a challenging quiz-based learning experience. You have four lives to race to the top of the leaderboard, just select a category and select a difficulty to get started.

• Implements:

  • Javascript, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, Reactstrap, Lodash
  • React Hooks, React Functional Components, React Class Components
  • Heroku deployment and Version Control with Git
  • Authentication and Authorization with Devise adapted to accept usernames
  • Test-Driven Development with Jest/Enzyme and RSpec.
