GitHub Copilot supports a
.github/copilot-instructions.mdfile for repository-level custom instructions, analogous toCLAUDE.mdfor Claude Code. Without it, Copilot lacks the project-specific context (build commands, architecture overview, code style conventions) available to other AI tools.Changes
