This branch demonstrates the basic configuration and usage of pytest-benchmark. It adapts existing test cases from tests/unit/ (in new files, although this is not strictly necessary) and the holog test from the
asvdemo.The new tests can be invoked using the following command:
pytest tests/benchmark/ --benchmark-min-rounds=5 --benchmark-max-time=60.0 --benchmark-only --benchmark-verbose --benchmark-histogram=demo --benchmark-storage=/Users/amcnicho/clones/astrohack/ -W ignore::DeprecationWarning
