A simple Mandelbrot implementation written in C using X11
I have received a few complaints about X11 not being found in MacOS 10.14 and above.. I have updated the code by following the instructions on https://github.com/alexcu/swift-x11-example-xcode/blob/master/README.md. However, there is no need for a modulemap since this is written in C.
Install Quartz using Homebrew Cask or directly from Sourceforge
$ brew cask install xquartz
Link the header files into /usr/local/include/X11 and libraries into /usr/local/lib/X11:
$ ln -s /usr/X11/include/X11 /usr/local/include
$ ln -s /usr/X11/lib /usr/local/lib/X11
