  • There are a number of different ways to access and distribute the georeferenced content on the site, but they are not generally well-exposed or documented. This milestone defines a suite of tools and materials that should be easily accessible to site users, and will be completed once all of these access points are implemented. - XYZ endpoint for each volume's mosaic (this exists already, but exposing it requires an update to TiTiler, see: https://github.com/developmentseed/titiler/discussions/577) - Generate single GeoTIFF mosaic for each volume, add download link (or, button to generate if it doesn't exist and then email a download link) - Download link for each document/layer - Download .points file for each document/layer - XYZ endpoint for each layer (already exists)

  • This milestone must include tickets related to the creation of a new profile system that is independent of GeoNode's `people.models.Profile` model. Some topics that will need to be covered in this effort: - Create new Django app with profile/user model - Create new user profile template to replace the existing GeoNode template which is still in use (this can be pretty basic for now) - Handle new user signup with new model - Transfer all existing accounts over to new model - Link users to Diagolos app (which still holds some user comments, even though they are currently hidden from the interface) Fully removing GeoNode as a Python dependency should be possible after this project is completed. Another project will be made to handle a handful of other enhancements to user profiles that we have in mind.
