Originally Magic felt like a good fit but in the long run Mana seems a better fit for representing the currency of using magic.
There is quite often scenarios where you want to be able to have critical damage, as well as stamina alongside health/mana, so given the composability of the system these notions are being added at the genres level.
There was originally only small gaps left for new effects, this needed bumping up but is a breaking change.
A lot of entities need to move, so having a basic concept of movement speed seems sensible.
