A lightweight framework for examining variation in complex operational systems through structured observation.
Developed by Operational Systems Observer.
Version 1.1
This version reflects:
- Timeframe-based recording in place of exact dates
- Clarification of Seed Logs as living documents
- Structural consistency improvements across framework and records
DOI corresponds to the latest released version of the framework.

The V.A.I.Y.L. Framework emerged from practical reflection on operational experience within complex systems. It provides a lightweight method for examining variations noticed by operators during normal work.
Examples are generalized and do not represent specific facilities or events, and are intended solely to illustrate the application of the framework.
