@maxrjones thanks, this makes sense to me. Perhaps in our upcoming PSC discussions this fall, we should consider sub-committees that meet a few other times during the year? |

LGTM, thanks for your efforts @maxrjones, @abarciauskas-bgse, et al. The Australian identity is literally shaped by the "tyranny of distance". The challenges in communication are different now than in 1788 - they didn't have zoom, GitHub, Slack, or web-meeting-planning - but the 4am meetings are still tough to make. 😜

Given that Pangeo has grown in its geographic diversity and the SC represents (I think) the full range of time zones, I'd like to propose that we update the synchronous meeting schedule to annually and develop mechanisms for more asynchronous communication between the SC. We could always meet on an as-needed basis in between the required annual meetings.
