There are still some strange things going on (the icons sometimes disappear when I unlock my device, they don't show up in certain App store Apps (Waze) but work fine in other App store Apps (Alien Blue), but this is at least partially working.

And according to this, https://twitter.com/saurik/status/654198997024796672 and http://iphonedevwiki.net/index.php/Updating_extensions_for_iOS_9#Compilation_changes, you should compile with:

libstatusbar_LDFLAGS += -Wl,-segalign,4000 -lsubstrate -lrocketbootstrap

not going to be statically linking to rocket bootstrap...but thanks for the advance warning that Apple is going with huge pages :) decache needs to be updated first to better support some other devs (and so that I can actually see what's happening with UIKit for libstatusbar).

Oh, yeah, sorry about that. I copied that LDFLAGS line, at the last minute, from my local build and forgot to remove the rocketbootstrap link.

Thanks for getting this updated. I'm curious to see what you changed because your iOS 9 version doesn't exhibit the strange, disappearing icons that I am seeing with my simple update.

Well, it doesn't exhibit it as much. I've seen them disappear once and I've seen posts on Reddit about it,

@tateu is there any way that you can submit your version to Cydia? My apps dependent on libstatusbar haven't had status bar icons for a while now.
