Automated by scripts/agent-branch-finish.sh (PR flow).

Codex task flow now keeps sandbox branches/worktrees by default after PR/direct merge so review and follow-up work remains reproducible. GuardeX adds an explicit cleanup command () for removing merged agent branches/worktrees, while preserving automated sync and conflict-handling behavior in auto-finish flows.

Constraint: Protected-main workflow must still enforce branch-first edits with PR/merge automation

Rejected: Continue auto-deleting branches/worktrees immediately after merge | removes audit/follow-up context the user requested

Confidence: high

Scope-risk: moderate

Reversibility: clean

Directive: Keep live/template workflow scripts and guardex skill docs in lockstep for setup/doctor repairs

Tested: bash -n scripts/agent-branch-finish.sh scripts/agent-worktree-prune.sh templates/scripts/agent-branch-finish.sh templates/scripts/agent-worktree-prune.sh templates/scripts/codex-agent.sh

Tested: node --check bin/multiagent-safety.js

Tested: npm test -- test/install.test.js

Not-tested: Full npm test matrix outside install-focused coverage
