Summary

Our tool detected a potential vulnerability in parser/expat/lib/xmlparse.c which was cloned from libexpat/libexpat but did not receive the security patch applied in libexpat/libexpat. The original issue was reported and fixed under https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/cve-2022-22822.

Proposed Fix

Apply the same patch as the one in libexpat/libexpat to eliminate the vulnerability.
