Nominating this for backport. The fix for the s390x is_normal miscompile is not particularly important as that requires a nightly feature. However, this release fixes quite a few issues with LLVM 22 we've been tracking downstream (at least a ppc64le miscompile affecting the Rust uuid crate, a crash when building with PGO, and a build hang on s390x). For the record, this caused a non-trivial compile-time regression in debug builds. The problematic commit was reverted in #154511. |
