Sam, really great job on this project. I was really impressed by the semantic and concise nature of your code. It is clear you put thought into writing well-organized, efficient code. I included some comments and thoughts in inline comments in your HTML, CSS, and JS files. For instance, there is opportunity to break up your code a bit further to be even more modular (and thus more readable).
