I am using suncal to run sweeps of nominal values and uncertainties for my measurement system. The sweep times were getting long (tens of minutes) for hundreds of operating points. Profiling showed that much of the time was spent lambdifying expressions.
This change reduced my sweep time from 16 minutes down to 1.5.
