They have the same md5. Choose the one with the more descriptive name.
Because the 3MB ROM file is a bad dump of a 4MB ROM.
It appears to be identical to "1999-01-22 - Mac OS ROM (New World 1.2.1) Mac OS 8.5.1 (Colors iMac 266 MHz Bundle), iMac Update 1.1.rom"
except that it is overwritten with zeros starting from offset 0x48b7A.
These don't have dates. What method is used to get dates?
One method might be to extract dates from PEFs.

"________ - PM9700 Prototype (bad dump jkalittle OF_2_3_dump3) - 7.5.5-9.1.ROM"
is last 1 MiB of
"46001F1B - PM9700 Prototype (bad dump test1digi) - 7.5.5-9.1.ROM"
The latest date of all PEF's in the ROM resources is chosen.

Mac OS ROM will now always be macbinary with .bin file extension.
Mac OS ROM will now always be macbinary with .bin file extension.
Contains the same ROM as 1.0b3 but has a simpler bootscript because the
ROM doesn't need to be decompressed.
