Our commitment to privacy

Peacock is dedicated to protecting your privacy from prying eyes. It's your data and should be your right to who owns it.

Collected information

What data is collected when I download Peacock?

  • Peacock does not collect nor see when you download Peacock.
  • Downloads are managed by Github (privacy statement) and the Arch User Repository (privacy policy).

What data does Peacock store on my device?

  • It's your data and it stays on your device.
  • User data stored by Peacock:
    • Command Line Flags (switches)
    • Settings
    • Browsing history
    • Bookmarks
    • Site permissions
    • Search engines
  • Electron will store other data including cached information.

Who is my data shared with?

  • Peacock does not collect telemetry, analytics or data from users and does not (and will never) share user information without explicit consent.
  • Any website browsed via Peacock may still be able to track information even if Peacock limits it.
