are extant in Syriac in the Peshitta and Harqlean versions. While pre-Peshitta
quotations from the Pauline Epistles are known in Syriac from patristic authors,
it is uncertain how the translation or translations behind these are related to
the extant Old Syriac version of Gospels. The Philoxenian version of the Pauline
Epistles is no longer extant.</note>
