Blokwork is a note-taking / text block management app built with Flutter. It helps you capture, organise, and manage blocks of text. It features markdown support, tagging, sorting and export capabilities.
This web version runs completely in your browser - no servers, no cloud sync, no data collection. Your notes stay on your device.

- Create your first block - Click the + button to add a note

- Theme switching: Visit Settings to change between light/dark themes

Your data is stored using your browser's localStorage API:
- Location: Stored locally on your device only
- Persistence: Data survives browser restarts
- Size limit: Typically 5-10MB per domain (varies by browser)
- Clearing data: Use browser settings or workspace deletion
After the initial page load, Blokwork makes zero network requests:

Strict CSP headers prevent:
- Cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks

- Browser data can be cleared if you:

- A workspace with 1,000 blocks typically uses ~2MB
- Monitor your usage and export large workspaces
- Browser will warn if quota is exceeded

If text appears blank after loading:
- Hard refresh:
Ctrl+F5(Windows) orCmd+Shift+R(Mac) - Clear browser cache
- Check browser console for CSP errors
- Try a different browser
- Check internet connection (required for first load)
- Disable browser extensions temporarily
- Try incognito/private mode
- Clear site data and reload
- Check if you switched workspaces accidentally
- Try different browser (data is browser-specific)
- Restore from last JSON export
- Contact support with details
- Export and archive old workspaces
- Reduce blocks per workspace (<500 recommended)
- Close unnecessary browser tabs
- Use a Chromium-based browser for best performance
